Toby Twirl and Lone Wolf

As well as my own project, I have been working on others, here is some of the concept work I did for two other projects on the course: Toby Twirl, and LoneWolf

  TOBY TWIRL:

Elliot Richardson, the director of Toby Twirl, asked me to come up with some drawings of the characters in his animated childrens book adaptation of the book of the same name. He would then use the drawings as a basis for the main style of the animation, as he and I both felt the illustrations in the book weren't strong enough and looks "somewhat adult and creepy".
I took the characters and drew them to make them look more childlike and construct them in a way that would make them better to animate.

One thing the characters lacked in the books was expression, especially Toby Twirl, the main character (the pig), who would always have the same look on his face, no matter what the situation.
I drew these up -again as a reference for the animators. Elliot seemed pretty happy with all the work I did, and am currently seeing if he has any more to do.

LONE WOLF:

After Yasmin, the director of her own animated short Lone Wolf, saw the work I was doing on Toby Twirl, she approached me to ask if I could do some poses for her of the dad wolf - Alpha.
I was given the task of making sure the character worked in various poses and expressions, so that they could also be used as guides in the final animation.
